PNG Supporting Candidates

Candidate Recruitment

Every member of the PNG family, including contributors, is welcome to suggest candidates that should be selected by the organization to support. While funds are limited and not every worthy candidate can ultimately be selected, all candidates who are suggested by our supporters will be seriously considered by the Board. We also welcome young, progressive candidates to contact us and let us know why we should join their team. PNG members and candidates are encouraged to forward their suggestions to us by sending an email to candidates@pngpac.com.

Candidate Selection

The PNG Board will consider and ultimately select those candidates to support. First, the Board will consider whether candidates fit the mission of PNG—to support young, progressive candidates that can affect positive change in our community. The Board will also consider a variety of other factors, such as the candidate’s support among PNG members, the strength of their candidacy, and their ability to serve in the position they are seeking.
